„Aston Jepson“ kommen aus Flensburg, sind seit 2009 in den Clubs Norddeutschlands unterwegs und werden im Frühjahr 2011 ihre erste Ep veröffentlichen. Was die vier Flensburger musikalisch präsentieren, kann getrost als Cocktail britisch und amerikanischer Rockmusik betitelt werden, denn ihre tonalen Nachbarn könnten durchaus Neil Young, Pearl Jam, The Cure oder Coldplay sein.
AS................ Welcome to Indie Rock! .... When we started this band none of us were sure where the journey would lead us to. The original bandmembers Veit Wedel (Bass) and John-Henry Hansen (Vocals) played in different bands together before they decided to get over the top with something totally new. They soon began working on a few songs. The concept of these first songs were primarily inspired by rock legends like Neil Young and Pearl Jam. .... Our style is based on grunge and indie sounds combined with strong riffs and catchy melodies. Since the very first few rehearsal sessions we..ve played a lot of gigs in our hometown Flensburg (right at the danish border) and sourroundings as local hero headliners or support acts for more famous bands. .... Stefan Lindemann on drums and guitarist Vincent Wedel joined the band. We worked out some new stuff which you can hear on this website as you read this! .... Get a taste. Get the whole meal.
