Singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist and street musician. YUKEE’s passion for music was clear early on. He started writing his own songs in 2014 and played them in several bands experimenting with different styles and genres as both a guitarist and a singer.
When the global pandemic hit he realized his need for being independent and self-reliant as a musician, so he started creating a show he could perform on the streets with just a guitar his voice and a loop station. Soon the great response from people on the street made him give up his day job and pay his rent just by playing music. YUKEE then decided to spend time in Costa Rica and Mexico to write his first album. He returned home to Germany with loads of songs in his backpack, playing both street performances and club shows, traveling around Europe selling his self-made CDs and saving money for the studio.
After his first single 'Dopamine' received highly positive feedback he pushed even further with his next song. His second Single 'CHANGE' is an energetic, powerful and yet very emotional song.
It describes the diffuse feeling of not being happy with your place in the world, without knowing where you actually wanna go.
Recently YUKEE moved to Berlin, released another single plus an electronic remix of his first single, performed that song at Wuhlheide as a guest act and while still planing the release of his first EP, he is already getting ready for his debut album. With well over 30 songs written in the last months he's starting to shape what's gonna be his signature sound.
